Fishing on the Snake River

Each year on our visit to my brother's house we try to get on the water and do a little fishing.  It is not only a time to be with my brother but also to see the beautiful river country side and let Ashlee get to know Jim a little more.
We set out on our journey from Central Ferry.  With the wind and birds in the air, the water was smooth and calm.  Great day to be on the water!
After cruising the river for a good spot to try to get some bass fish to bite, we stop and get out the poles.  Ashlee's favorite part of fishing is running the reel and taking pictures of everyone.

We did not get too many bites, but of course being the great fisherman that he is, Jim caught a few!  One that did not make it to the boat, but we did catch a glimpse of him in the water, he was a big one, well at least a 2lb fish.!
After taking and posing for the pictures, Ashlee realized that we were out on a boat in the middle of a river, what is there to do?  Oh sing and play with the bait lures.  Each one had a name like mudge, fud, and budge.. oh to have her imagination :)!
Thank you for a great trip on the lake, Jim!
