Recipe; crock pot pumpkin butter

Pumpkin Butter

Ingredients
1 cup sugar
2 tablespoons grd cinnamon
1 tablesppon grd cloves
1/2 teaspoon grd allspice
1 (5lb)pumpkin- seeded peeled and cut into 2" cubes




Combine the sugar, cinnamon, clove, and allspice in a bowl. Place about 1/4 of the pumpkin in bottom of slow cooker and sprinkle with 1/4 of the sugar mixture; repeat layers 3 more times. Cover the slow cooker, set on low. cook for 8 hours or overnight. Stir once or twice during cooking. when pumpkin is dark, golden color use a whisk or immersion blender to blend mixture smooth.
