My own fingerless gloves pattern

I saw this great pattern for boot cuffs on Pinterest 

and after making a few pairs I figured I needed to try to make some fingerless gloves to go with. 

Here is my basic pattern. 

Size 8 knit needles

Ball of 4 worsted yarn my color is Grand Canyon but any color works! 

Cast on 36 stitches and begin the twist stitch pattern k,k,p all the way across on the(because I chose to use two needles and not double pointed this is where pattern differs from one above).

 (w) side k,p,p to the end on the 3rd row k2t, the with stitches still on needle k into back stich and then p repeat to end of row. Repeat this pattern be sure to do the twist stitch on the 4th row which should be the (R) side. 

After the 5th repeat of the twist row in middle kfb (knit in front and back of the stitch) this will begin the adding for the thumb. 

Repeat each row until you have 8 extra stitches then move extra stitches into another needle and will finish this after, continue Twist Pattern until you have 11 twists in the gloves or until glove measure to desired length on hand. Cast off

Go back to needle with 8 stitches for thumb and Pearl (r) side and k the (w) stitch until desired length. Cast off, then sew sides to main body. 

Sew to form gloves and enjoy!!

What I've been making

Lately I have been working hard.... Crocheting and knitting. Lots of baby showers and lots of cold weather accessories needed. Here are a few of what I have done.

Crochet boot cuffs

So I know I have not been posting much of anything lately other than my photo a day. So I decided to show you what I have been working on crafty wise.

I have really been all Gitty about learning to crochet. It is so fun and fast moving as compared to knitting.

Someone asked me of I had seen these boot cuffs and if I could try to make some. So I found a pattern and let me tell you how helpful Pinterest is for that!! Love it. ❤❤

Here is the pattern and so far I have three sets. I'll show you the one set so far.

My first crochet project!!

About a year or so ago I learned how to knit and I have been dabbling in different projects over the last few months.
I always come across the cutest crochet patterns. So I decided I need to try to learn to crochet.

I have been doing quite a few different dish cloth patterns but finally came across a flower headband pattern that I thought I could attempt...

Craft Fair !! Knitting OH MY!!!

Hi all! So excited I get to have my knitting at a Craft Fair!! I will try to have a few different things available for sale there... it will be November 10th at the Oregon City Highschool!

There will be at least three other people knitting crafts and we also have a crochet person doing some really cute posie dish rags!!

It will be LOADS of fun and LOADS of Christmas shopping !!!!
