bathroom vanity updating

Ok... so I have this idea for updating my vanity... get rid of the old one with the green tile counter and put in an old antique dresser with a sink bowl on top... but I have a few questions... does anyone know a plumber and/or a contractor?  I think I might need help??

Some of my questions are.... should I use some sort of countertop? granite? stone or something? or just the wood??
I would like to use as much storage as I can in the dresser....so .....

Duck Races

It is approaching that time of year again!  Yes I need a vacation.... hmmmm where and what should we do?

I want to try a 4 day weekend to Vegas, and Grand Canyon!  I need some opinions.... what do you do when you go?

Have you ever been to the Grand Canyon, what should I see there?

Any ideas would be much appreciated!

Field Trip

It is a new months field trip time again.... this time we got to go on a tour of the McLoughlin House in Oregon City.  John McLoughlin is known as the father of Oregon.  It was neat.... the kids loved the canon in the front yard.
We also took a ride down the Elevator.... that was fun for them too!  Until next month!

New camera!!!

Wow the wait is finally over!!! I am still getting used to it ...but so far.... I LOVE ... LUV..... it!
I have a few shots from soccer practice and just a little around the house.... wow I love the clarity!!!
Now I just have to learn how to use some of the settings... like MACRO... help!  does anyone have a grip on this?
