We started out this hike thinking we would go as far as we could and then turn around... at the beginning of this hike it is steep with lots of switch backs. I know I was working up a quick sweat, but once we reach the first falls, it did not seem to matter how steep. The views were gorgeous!!

We kept going and reach a view point, views of the gorge and even a faint rainbow over the Columbia, nice place for a group picture.
From here we kept on tracking.... up to the next falls, I think Fairy Falls...
We decided since we had come this far and still had more energy we could keep going, we had to cross over a running water with a TINY log and it was very scary for the little kids, plus I hate heights....but we made it and walked along the gorge until we were at the top of Multnomah falls trail coming down the back side.... the view of the falls is breath taking...especially for me and i heights issues......

The whole hike was to be 5.2 miles, wow that was a long one, a little wet at times. Thanks for all the fun girls and boys!!
