corn chowder recipe
I just tried this amazing crockpot recipe. Bacon corn chowder.
It was amazing and So easy to make!
Bacon Corn Chowder Recipe
Ingredients
1 Onion chopped
4 lrg Carrots peeled and chopped
4 Potatoes peeled and chopped
1 can corn
1 can creamed corn
salt and pepper and some basil and parsley to taste
8oz of chicken broth
2 tablespoon flour
1/2 pint of half and half
package of bacon cooked and chopped
directions:
Add all to crockpot onion,potatoes,carrots, corn, (cream and regular)seasonings, chicken broth, half the bacon. cook on high for 3-4 hours until potatoes and carrots are tender. Add the rest of the bacon and flour and half and half and to make it creamy, let cook for 30 minutes and serve.
