A little fun on the Roller Coaster

Fun in the Summer Sun!

Summer fun.... It's always great to spend time with good friends.  Our trip to Kahneeta was no exception.  The sun and hot springs pool never disappoint!

 This year ... all the kids rode the slides!!!

I cannot leave out the fun times to be had on the Willamette River... we went kayaking and canoeing!

PDX adventure!!

Our day started off at the OR Zoo. We got to see the FLIgHt show!! 

Next we went to the Rose Garden and Pittock Mansion...

Nehalem Bay camping!!!

We got to go on an impromptu camp trip to Nehalem Bay state park!! We stayed in a yurt!!

And the beach was amazing!!! (Very, very windy though)

S'mores anyone??

This guy stopped by our site to visit too.

On the way home we stopped for lunch at camp 18 and said "hello" to Bigfoot

Beachside camping

For three years, the second year now at Beachside we have been going camping with our tent trailer. Each time we have a great time and the weather is hit and miss but I sure do enjoy the family time.

All the way to the coast from home it was a warm and sunny day, by the time we got to the beach the clouds had rolled in.

But when we came upon the Waldport brigde there were some sun breaks. 

Our site... Beach front property I call it.

Our first trip to the beach... 

We do not need no stinking sun to have a great time in the sand!!!!

This is the site we want for next year!!!!

For our first outing we went to sea the Devils punch bowl natural state oregon park at Beverly Beach. 

We had a great time checking out the sites and there was even a whale sighting!!

There were also lots of surfers!!

After some exploring the beach we found Mo's west!!!

Day 2. We went south to Florence OR!!

Sand dunes forever!! And Heceta Head light house!

You cannot go to Florence and not have chowder at Mo's!!

We went for a hike to hobbit beach!!

It was a neat trail... like a tunnel thru the trees to the open beach!!

On the way home we stopped by the Devils Churn and the Blow holes!

All in all it was a great trip to the beach and we had a great time camping!
