Pumpkin carving and Roasted Pumpkin seeds

The I LOVE fall and all the great things that come with it... the colors, the pumpkins, the carving and all the great Family time! Today we decided it was finally time to carve pumpkins and I also wanted to try roasting some pumpkin seeds....

things you will need for Roasting pumpkin seeds:

1. Fresh pumpkins, clean out the goo and separate the seeds (this is longest most time consuming part)

2. Once you get them cleaned I rinsed in hot salt water and then dried them in paper towels.

3. Spray cookie sheets with PAM and add the seeds to the tray, you can also add more PAM to the seeds along with garlic salt, seasoning salt, regular salt. Preheat oven to 350.

4. Bake seeds at 350 for 20-30 minutes or until seeds are golden brown.  Let cool completely before serving! Enjoy!
taste test.....PASSED!!

 my inspiration for carving...

it....is ...JACK!!!!

Happy HALLOWEEN!!!!
