Sawyer's New bed!!

For the last year or so we have been looking for a big boy bed for Sawyer's room. So far not much luck.

 He has been sleep on a ikea futon. It was a great option at the time due to it being close to the ground?!!

But it is time... I want to be able to use all those great sheets and bedding sets we have for him. Gifts over the years ...

I have been searching for the right look and I think we found one but it's more of a clone of two bed plans we have found. 

I am excited to see how it turns out. Even with all the snow today we were able to get the wood to start on the bed!! Yeah.

I am impressed with how it is turning out! Only some sanding and painting left to do!

Oh my!! it is really coming together!  He really wants a Star Wars theme... so found a new sheet set and comforter!  plus some great wall decals... now to just finish up!!
